Today is over and tomorrow brings....

Today was a really really bad day. But it's past us now.

I have been apart of The Army wives forums for a while now. I usually just read, it's been very helpful. I have posted a little bit and everyone is so very welcoming. I was posting about how I hate it here and through that I met two very nice ladies, who are also stationed here (and are still new or kind of new). The one that has been here the longest invited me to tag along to the street market in the morning. I eagerly accepted her offer (before I even spoke with Dan tee-hee). I mentioned it to dan and I think he was practically pushing me out the door now to go. And as it turns out the other girl I met is tagging along too! Yeah! I am so excited. I will get to meet new people, see a new place and maybe even get to buy something!!! Just have to get me some Euro.

Tomorrow is a NEW day. And I am hoping that it's going to be a GREAT day! It's looking wonderful already.

  1. Told you keep your chin up things would get better and they are. Nothing like a little retail therapy to help and making new friends always helps. Hows the house hunting going?

  2. Italian street markets are the best, there's so much going on that you almost have to have a good time. Things could be looking up for, spring is around the corner and that could make your stay a little more better. Thanks for dropping by with your comment, it was bound to be worth a hunky laugh!

  4. I know we haven't talked in ages, and that things didn't end too greatly between us...but just wanted you to know that I'm thinking of you and hope that you adjust to life well overseas! I know you really well, and you can adapt to any surroundings once you put your mind to it! Hang in there, and give it time!! I've been to Italy once, and although it was just for vacation, it really was a culture shock! Their way of life, their demeanor, the language - everything is just soooo different than the US! Embrace the change, and before you know it, you'll be loving life in Italy!! Good luck!
