I've had many people ask about the melatonin. So I thought I would give you a report after 2 days. The melatonin I got is actually 1mg. I took 2 the first night because I didn't think 1mg was 'enough' haha. I have previously done much research and some people take 1mg... some take 50mg. It's all up to you and your body. I took the 2 pills, and a half hour later I felt sleepy. Not tired or worn, I just felt like I could lay down and go to sleep. So that is what I did. I think I was asleep within 5 minutes. I woke up at 6:30 the next morning and I felt GREAT! I didn't feel drugged. I felt very well rested.
I did the same thing last night with the same results. I slept well but not too hard. It's a good sleep. I am going to stick with my 2mg and keep taking it. It feels really good to go to bed with my husband and not just lay there waiting to fall asleep for hours.
I have to say that I am very impressed. My husband has also been taking it. Since being deployed twice he sometimes has difficulty falling asleep. He has the same results!!
A bottle of 100 tablets of 1mg runs about $5 at walmart. (We got ours before we left NY)
I would recommend getting the 1mg to start since you can take 3 if need be but if you get 5mg you don't have a way of taking less.
