Welcome to my new and improved look!!! I would first like to extend a HUGE thank you to Raphael for putting up with my-stubborn-self. This was my first time working with someone I didn't know personally. I couldn't have chosen a better person! Please, if you need any design work done, pay him a visit!
Now.. Since we are starting off a new look here I've decided to do a give away! Since I am a scentsy freak, who woulda thunk I'd do a scentsy give away. LOL.
I have decided to give away a WARMER of your choice to include 3 bars. You can chose ANY warmer in the current scentsy catalog (not to include charity/cause/military warmers) as well bars of your choice.
Now how to enter:

*Tell me about your most memorable trip you've taken = 1 entry
Extra entry 1 entry per day until date of closing- Tweet something that mentions my contest with a link to my blog.
Leave a seperate comment for each of the entries you've done so that I can assign numbers to each one to be put into www.random.org for the winner to be chosen. Be sure to include your email in your comments.

ReplyDeleteOk, now it is time to be serious!
ReplyDeleteMy most memorable trip was in 2005 when hubby came home from his first tour to Iraq. We had been planning to go to Disney World for a while, but the problem we kept running into was we were unsure when block leave would be. When they finally told us, it was too late to book flights (it would have been outrageous for 3 of us in a matter of 7 days) so we ended up going GreyHound!!!
24+ hours on a greyhound bus, with my ox of a husband and my 13 year old son. Adventure or living hell? lol
Needless to say, we made it to Orlando, made it to Disney and enjoyed our week there. Of course, when it came time to return home, we yet again boarded a greyhound. Let's just say that I will never ride in another bus for the rest of my life!!!!
Not sure if it is most memorable, but it is definitely hard to forget! :D

ReplyDeleteAnd my most memorable trip? It will always be our trip to Ireland. Hands down. It was like "going home" for me, and my eyes actually welled up when we left.
ReplyDeleteIt was a relaxing time. We went to different sites that most people wouldn't have cared to go. Few, if any tourist traps... Quality time with family, which was muchly needed, given that hubby had just come home from a year long deployment in Iraq.
And the pubs... We had a favorite. It was within walking distance from the Bed and Breakfast we were staying in. Is it bad that the "waitress" got to know us and knew exactly what we wanted when we walked through the door? lol
I want to go back, and will... someday...
Yes Dawna as long as you are a current 'follower' then it doesn't matter when you began following me, it's still an entry.

My most memorable trip was my honeymoon. All I remember is being miserable from getting the flu and spent 2 days in a hotel bed not even hours after we were married. I didnt get to enjoy it and feel bad that Hubby had to take care of me. By the 3rd day we came home so really we didnt enjoy any of it. But 12 years later, we are still happily married and hope to some day get a REAL honeymoon.

ReplyDeleteMy most memorable trip was the one we just took at christmas. We were driving home to MI from RI where we are currently stationed and about 10 minutes into the drive we were rear ended and the kid who hit us totaled our car! The car that was full of five people, a bulldog, and ALL of our stuff, which was now stuck in the trunk and was not opening because of the accident! SO our trip still happened a day later with a rental car and some smashed presents!

Most memorable trip would have to be my honeymoon to Jamaica! We ended up switching hotels 3 times, which was crazy, but we got to see every part of the island!
